Yep...I did it. I have successfully survived the holidays. Actually, I had a really good Christmas and a pretty decent New Year's. Went to my friends for a party. Stayed up too late, partied too much, but was worth it. The only other thing I could have asked for was for my gf. Due to my stupid work schedule it was impossible. The financial worlds busiest time of the year is the end of the year except for tax season.
Working a ton has been able to boost my wallet. All extra money is being set aside for household items. I cannot wait until I move. Moving is my number one goal this year. No, I didn't make a New Year's Resolution this year. They ususally end up fizziling out by a few months anyway, so this year I didn't make one and decided I will just focus on my main goal anyway, which is purchasing my first home. Getting pretty excited! Am planning on informing my parents about my lifestyle once I move, but I think there will still be some unexpected snags I did not forsee until recently, but oh well. I will deal with that when it comes.
